Im convinced the internal pumps are much better for two reasons
1- It runs much cooler
2- Its a lot easier to push than pull even if you are only talking about a couple of feet difference.
3- And the are a lot quieter!!! Lol!!!

Larry since you have flattened out your pan it might be easier to go with a 68 EFI tank...

Yes, ok, maybe ? ! ? ! ?

I also relocated my springs, so that means that I'll have to find a place to run my tail pipes out the back of the car . . . so I have to deal with that too . . . so I may have to get my tank custom welded . . . ( sigh ) . . . or figure out how to use my TIG welder ( yeah - that's the ticket . . . )

Next set of questions . . .

1 - Yes the in tank will probably be quieter ( and run cooler )
2 - The external will be a whole heck of a lot easier to change out ( if needed )

Which is the smarter ( best ? ) way to run your pump ? ?

I plan on putting an acces panel for that very reason. Tanks sells them pretty cheap...

I like the idea of the flat floor pan and a 68-70 style tank for a few reasons:
1) You can mini-tub and still get the exhaust out the back
2) It moves the fuel filler out the back and you don't have to run your exhaust past the fuel filler tube.
3) It gives you market available options for the in tank pump

It does require a few additional modifications, but in the long run the mini-tub and exhaust out the back swayed me to go this direction. Not done yet...but heading that way.

Just remembered,

I ditched the cork gaskets provided with the PA4 and ordered some PTFE or Viton sheets off Amazon and cut my own gaskets.
