That looks like it's going to be a cool project! What are your plans for it?

To alter the original suspension or anything else on the car would be a crime. JMO

And what's up with the back seat area?

If altering this car is a crime....get ready for a crime wave. At least from the outside it will keep it's original paint. And what about who ever altered the **** out of this car originally? rolled fenders, no tail lights, roll bar, you consider him a criminal?

Lloyd,
I'm 40 miles from Ridgecrest CA

Fantastic car!
I'm so freaknig jealous of you and you spectacular FIND!

PS: I have just the right engine for your car....
Dale Reed built a 440 for me, A& A cross ram manifold and set up
Wish that were my car!
Congratulations!

Lloyd, you're going to find a fair amount of members who have no problem telling you what you should and shouldn't do with YOUR car, even when they're not asked for opinions. My standard answer is "Do you want to buy it so you can "save" it?" I still own mine if that tells you anything. It's YOUR car, do with it what YOU want.
Not trying to start anything with anybody, but it does get old...

Cram-McCall ( Bob Cram ) is a very good, very reasonable engine builder. The shop
itself would probably be considered a piece of history. Parts of all kinds and all ages
everywhere.
