70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

So... I'm really diggin this setup with the exception of the $2200 price tag.
I'm wondering if I can build my own version for about 1/2 of that price? I only need the AC compressor and the alternator so I think it would be super clean.
I'm sure you can make one that will make that one look like dogdo..

Got it fired up. Have since set the timing so it isn't so sluggish to rev.

Wow does that sound so good, how bout next week sometime let me what's good for you. Just awesome

I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can make about any day or time work.

I had to go back to the bottom of page 3 to find ya. Still pluggin away? Looks like the heats showing up next week so should be good garage weather!

I've spent quite a bit of time doing "non glamorous " work like finish welding a bunch of tubes and planning and making the seat mount bars. Nothing picture worthy. Besides that, just been mowing and racing the green car. Went to Cordova last weekend.

Is that with the fogger?
Yeah. That's the fastest it's gone. This 535 doesn't have the torque your 572 does, but it runs good up top. We can't get it to run very well on motor due to the converter, so we just open up the blue bottle of torque. The 572 went 9.98 at 139. These heads on that 572 with this bottle would be amazing lol

That is an awesome run. Gotta be a blast to drive

You're not far off and will hit it eventually!
Where I'm headed next weekend if not for elevation would probably come close. Working on a window switch setup to delay the hit slightly so I can run more MPH on big end. May be opposite results but even to hit 130 would be a big smile right now. I know the 511 when it comes back will be a 9 with a shot.

Went to the local 1/8 mile track where we usually hook better. Went 1.479 60' but I botched the shift resulting in a slower 6.39@108. Didn't get a second pass as I was playing big chief and flashlight starting the 8.20 index class off a pro tree. That was interesting! Lol

Let me know the next time you go to Cordoba.
