Top or bottom? Top has 295/50-15 bottom has 295/65-15

Top, the bottoms look huge ! This is funny because a few months ago I was debating tire size on my 68 coronet. 295/50 side profile looked too small/ short to me, I wanted 295/60 but didn't want a drag radial. BUT, the 295/50 look perfect in the picture you posted ! I ended up with 275/60, which is 28" tall. I'm happy with it

I think the 295/65's would look better if they were tucked a bit. if the car was maybe an inch, inch and half lower in the back (probably need to be mini tubbed to do that though) IMO taller tires make long cars look shorter. But you probably don't plan on lowering the back so maybe the 295/50's are the way to go.

I like the tops stance better. The bottom is good as well but prefer top.

Good luck!

The top.

I think the 65s are too huge as well. I will check out the 275/60 which is about 2" lower than 295/65 on diameter. Thanks for the input guys!

My two cents... I like the top better also. I've always preferred the rears to be tucked up in the fender wells a bit. The 65s would be sweet if you had the rear end slightly narrowed or had the springs moved inboard a little to sit the tires up under the car more..again just my opinion. Awesome car by the way!

Top pic looks perfect imo.

Hey 65-440 looking at tires for my 68 coro at the moment too, have you any pics of yours with the 275/60

My vote is top as well.

Of course a lot depends on the tire, but the rim width and backspacing play a big part in the look too...
