Hi Guys.

I recently bought a 68 Charger that has a 1970's front end. Is there anyone out there interested in swapping? I've seen a few threads discussing what it would take but the effort seems somewhat larger. Maybe someone is interested? Worst case scenario is that I buy all the materials from AMD et. al. to restore it. It will be costly though..

Anyone have any other ideas?

Kev

I'd probably sell outright, and then buy what you need. 70 stuff is one year only and mostly not reproduced so it should sell easily.

Swapping back and forth is pretty much bolt-on, the only real difference I can think of is the bracket that locates the dog leg - it's different from at least 69/70, 69 is the probably the same as 68. There are a few minor differences from 68 to 69 but most parts aside from the fenders and grille interchange, just might not be pn correct (I think the hood latch looks different but will interchange 68/69, etc.).

My front end is wrong too but it isn't in the greatest shape. If you do decide to sell yours I'd be very interested. I've taken bigger roadtrips to pick up less important parts!
