so i finally get some time to actually work on one of My cars.
with a bare 2 hours of sunlight left,i sprang into action.
fix the brakes on the 65,an achieveable goal.
i quickly broke down old lines,check.
bent new ones,flared them w the fittings on them the 1st time! lol,check.
opened the bleeders got it all good to go,every line and cylinder full of fluid,check.
shoes,new and edged in,check.
drag set and all wheels ready,check.
the magic moment has arrived,its getting dark victory is close at hand!
careful re-inspection of everything,no leaks everythings tight,check.
slide into the seat,relax for a moment,and push brake pedal.
pedal immediately goes to the floor and farts in my general direction...
and a spray of brake fluid comes pouring down the inside of the floor...
so i pump the pedal a few more times and watch the new river runs thru it on my floor...
sit there for a second...think about that disc brake conversion...
and how i need another check check check for that.....
