The short of it is, I know the guy that owns this car and he has offered it to me pretty cheap but it doesn't have a title. I'm unsure on even if I can obtain one. This will be my first real Mopar and I am trying to make as little mistakes as possible. I was told that it is a RM vin code and was a 383/727 car. i haven't seen the car in person but depending on what you guys think, i just might.

Oh boy! Here we go again...
Do you think it's worth it is what matters.

It looks like a 68 GTX to me, a great model but a little different than a road runner in a couple ways. If you know who's name is on the last title you should be able to resurrect a new one with some leg work.

Some states you can do a bonded title,$250-300. From what I understand here is you have 2 years and if no claims are protested you get a clean blue title...Don't know about SC though....
When you say cheap what does that mean?

In my state, no title equals parts car period. It does look complete so there is some value there because it is a 2 door.

it's not a GTX

I have tried multiple times without success.
Did you try calling them? Sometimes it's easier to hire it out. The problem with doing it yourself is you don't know where to go,what to do or who to call or what the heck they are looking for. I kept getting told to go to this DMV and then I'll need to go here with my car in question for an inspection but only every other Thursday. Screw that... pay the bill and have it done.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

This is why I like car people. we can ask one question and get a ton of different answers.Thank you to everyone that responded.
I can get the car for under 1k the guy saved it from going to the crusher and said he found a hood at the place and just put it on. It also has extra fenders and bumpers and was told the floors are solid.

Best Suggestion you can get in this matter, is Check your Dash Vin to the Fender Tag, then go to the trunk open it and remove the weatherstriping on the lower part of the trunk and match up your numbers first. Thats some money $$$, then make sure you, your frame rails are solid be sure on that point, move onto the wheel wells and rockers. Its gonna be rusty, somewhere maybe around the window corners maybe not. Take your time, Check your metal prices for the panels and have a place to build it. Good Luck

This is the quilty answer i was looking to get. Thanks

If it's under a grand, just buy the damn thing. Or better yet tell me where it is and I'll buy it. For that much money, you could easily part it out and make your money back, if you can not get a title.
