I have a F body brake set up I bought for my 64 Polara and I am wondering Which upper arms to use the B or F?

Also I want to swap out the worn upper bushings should I go with the offset or standard?

Thanks

The later arms will not fit. The F body used the bigger ball joint that was used on B bodies. You should be able to retain your UCAs and LCAs.

I like installing the MOOG K7103 upper control arm offset bushing kit. I install the front bushing with the offset toward the middle of the car. Then the rear bushing with the offset toward the outside of the car. The staggered orientation of the bushings sends the ball joint rearward, and has given me greater than +3* of caster, and helps the car remain straight and stable at speed!

If you have power steering, you should not notice the difference with steering effort. However, with manual steering, you may notice an increase in steering effort during low-speed maneuvers. I have only done this with power steering cars.

I also would use your original upper control arms. Hopefully, you upper ball joints are OK.

Thank you guys, I looked at all the other posts about the swap but didn't see any mention of using the upper arms so I was a little confused Thanks again.

I used Firm Feel upper arms on my '65. Stock ones will also work with the late model knuckles.

Stock arms with the offset bushings in the front. If installing the offsets in the rear make sure you trial up arm to shock tower clearance. Many times the arm will touch. Both my sons car and mine run with offsets in the front position with stock arms. About 2.5 + caster. Both cars run between 142-151 mph. Both steer and drive great.
