I've been around cars all my life. I am a motorhead for anything with wheels and a motor. Spent a ton of nites at the local dragstrip in my teenage yrs growin up simply cuz it was somethin to do & it was 2 miles from my house...
I was always into musclecars but all my friends had Chevys or fords. My old man was a GM guy so him & my Mom mostly drove Buicks...
I am diving into my 1st mopar project. Hence the addition to your team. My car is a 71 Satellite that was a father/son roadrunner clone project in the early 90's & became the sons daily driver when he got his license. It was parked in early 01 or 02 while he was in college after a minor fender bender. It spent the ladt years parked next to a barn under a tarp outside...
Thats where my story begins...
I look forward to tons of great advice on my journey. This car needs a ton of work. I love the lines & cant wait till she legitimately hits the streets!
Here is a few pics of her...

Very nice! Welcome aboard.

Welcome Grabbergreen,
Looks like a solid Satellite and very good canidate for a restoration and fun project. Also cool you know a little history on the car, nice!

As its been stated so many times before...."welcome to the madnesses"

Losing your mind is almost a prerequisite!

Btw, it does look like a fun project!

Welcome aboard from NJ. Very nice looking first Mopar. What motor and trans is in it? The 71's were the last year of high compression engines. Lots of good people here to help you.

Welcome from NW CT. Please keep us updated on your progress!

Thanks all!
The car has its original 318. That will change to a BB. I am a ways from that...
The car has major rust issues. Doors & fenders are decent. Quarters, rear pass framerail, trunk & extensions, floorpans, firewall & cowl all need replaced or large amout of repair. It is very complete. My plan is to keep it a RR clone(same color too) but upgrade the motor & trans. It will never be worth a ton of cash, but I really like the lines of this car so dont have any problem turnin it into a VERY nice driver/cruise car.

Welcome to the forum and cool project!

Create a build thread in the project section:thumbsup:

Welcome from Minnesota. That type/year was my 2/3rd choice after a '70 Cuda or ''65 Satellite post car (both outa control price), but didn't seem to have availability when I was looking. Resto's take up lot's of time & unfortunately money. Motor/trans? Great looking car that sure appears to be all there. Keep us updatedGOOD LUCK !!!

Yes you lost your mind, just like the rest of us . . . welcome to the madness
