O boy ... I was thinking of selling the 66 drop top until the wifey found out ...... holy hell did she pop a head seal. ..... Said she would cut my nuts off in my sleep if i did. So i guess im keeping it and my nuts. Not sure how to deleat it so i will just leave a note there that it is no longer for sale ..... Mopar chicks are rare ... but i guess i got one ...

Your wife is right. Sell a car to pay bills, and the bills just come back later. Even if they don't, if you sell the car, when you want one again, you will be priced out of the market. Keep the wife, and the car. Resolve your money problems another way.

ok .. going to use this to show how she is comeing along .... got the new top and will be putting it on myself to try and keep cost down ... cheepest place around here wants 1100 bucks to do it. .... I think the tan works well ... so glad wifey said to keep it....

Tell the significant other you are getting rid of the car, she gets upset and threatens castration, and you then spend mucho $$$ on new stuff.

I had mine done 14 years ago $950. There are cables to keep top from pulling up above windows. Bet they're rotted out, not big bucks. Guy that did my first top didn't put them in.
 
got breaks ??? Not hard to swap out .. just kind of a pain
