Holley Sniper

Fitech does not have an external map.

The tanks sending unit is a bit of a pain because you have to use the formula for arch to cut the float rod to length and then install it.

I think mine was 6 inches deeper and the rod I cut accordingly.

The only lesson Jim is use that sealant and don't overtighten the gasket to where it bulges out. I also used roll over valve and the a charcoal vent mounted up very high for the heat here

I really need to stop thinking about this. I saw my factory manifold, carb and air cleaner assembly sitting under the workbench and realized it sat tall. Took some measurements and found that the throttle body + 1" spacer will still be shorter (or similar) to the factory setup.... Holley Sniper with a 1" spacer?.....

I thought I would bring this thread back to the front. I am looking at the dual quad FiTeck set up #30064. Trying to figure out which intake to use... dual plane or single plane. When I talked with Fiteck I was not impressed with their tech guy, they test on a single plane but he thought for street use mostly he would go with the Mopar perf. dual plane intake(p4510633) Edelbrock thought single plane as well because he didn't think the two TBI from Fitech would fit on their intake (7524). This would be going on a 500 cu in Hemi as I can't find a good single four bbl intake that fits under the hood. So if I am going to do dual's I'll do the EFI route. What are your thoughts dual plane or single plane intake for dual quad TBI's.
I think I am going to order the FITech Go Street Monday. I have no desire to monkey around with the dual plane potential issues. I want the Sniper but not enough to be a beta tester. FITech says flat out it does not matter, dual or single plane.

Street or race?

It will be mostly street but will make a trip to the strip from time to time. It will live between 1800 and 4500 but when it is raced I'll go 6500 RPM.

Edelbrock Performer RPM in a dual set up then.

Okay, Edelbrock intake ordered. FiTeck dual quad set up next. Thanks for your opinions.

I'll jump in here and invite anyone to contact me if they would like to ask questions or comparisons on both units. I have threads over on FABO on both, and sell both, and offer 5% off on both. PM me or I'm In the office 7-4 EST
