Ha ha exactly, and I am old enough to remember hearing that song on the radio, my dad had a tan '67 Polara back then.

My Dad had a 68 BRN 4 dr Polara also, 383 car. Lots of mile in the back seat of that car!

B5, well I hope it is. :) I gave them one of those PPG paint chip charts and said 1971 GB5 please. The previous shop gave me a sprayed test panel with B5, looked good to me but this shop said they could do a better job matching the colour. Hopefully i can get up there Monday to check it out in person. Kinda looks like B7 as it sits in the booth. I actually went back and forth between B5 and B7 when deciding.

It looks awesome either way based on the engine bay color. Maybe you can call it B6 if it ends up being in between.

Yeah I went off a chip book and almost got disaster. Book was wrong and it was the turquoise color! Glad I caught that before he started painting. My 72 Charger was darker than the b5 blue.

Thank you. Just takes time and patience. Oh and lots of $$$$.

Man that is a looking sweet! That color looks really good. How far away are you from driving her you think?
Thanks, they still need to cut and polish and take out some of the imperfections. Realistically next summer until I am behind the wheel I think, hopefully get the major things done in the next few months and do some fine tuning over the winter months.
