I have a 5'' Hemi hood scoop from them. Good quality, least mine is. Ordered it and they shipped it to the body shop.

Didn't see a one piece nose from Glass tek.

I got my 5" scoop from them. It's now about 4 1/4" after some mods. Quality was ok but a tad on the flimsy side IMO. Dealing with them went smooth and they shipped the part right on time.

Scoop and hood on my car.

IMO the weight loss isn't worth it and the cost to paint match will be $$$

Way back I bought a one piece from them. I thought it was a decent nose and the fit was good. They are local and still around so they must have something positive going for them.

Not so much interested in weight savings although it would be beneficial as I still have a steel bumper and inner fenders.
I really like the idea of more and easier access to the engine compartment.
I hate spending 45 minutes changing my #6 plug.

............I hate spending 45 minutes changing my #6 plug.

What headers or manifolds do ya' have? I've had more success with a short plug socket and box end wrench than with ratchets, swivels, extensions, etc., etc., etc.
The socket is 2-3/8" tall. #6 was hard even on my '72 RR with stock manifolds and the heat shields. From the top I would reach #6 from the front under the alternator. I use the same approach on my Barracuda even though it has fenderwell headers.

Hemi is easy to change plugs on...
LOL
JUST SAYIN
Used to race a 440 Scamp with my brother
I admit changing plugs was a chore
No it was cruel and unusual punishment!
Wrenches were a must and various extensions...

or a slant six.....the other engine with spark plug tubes.just say'n....

Wait a second,,,,oh yeah, we were talking about fiberglass.

I've got a buddy with one of their hoods on his 66 Chevelle. Its a bolt on 8"cowl hood. looks pretty good, but it doesn't follow the fenderlines perfectly. All in all, I'd say its one of the better ones I've seen though.

Pro-parts headers on the car.
I need a full size box end on a shortened spart plug socket to get the plug started. I also need to twist my arm like gumby from underneath. My arm looks like I dumped a motorcycle when Im done.

Yes, a Hemi fixes many things!

I have a VFN power bulge hood on a 71 Charger and it fits as well as the stock hood, but I do not know how much it took to get it that way as it was on the car when I bought it. I have actually been to their shop, to look at a semi tractor of all things, but their showroom area had a large variety and they had a steel WS6 hood next to a fiberglass one, which is a more complex shaped hood than most Mopars, and it looked very nice to my average eye.
