Can anyone tell me if bumperettes are required to be on 73 Charger to be compliant for Pennsylvania vehicle inspections.

Been a long time since I was in Pittsburgh, but I don't think so. Bumperettes did not become mandatory equipment until the 1974 model year.

I can't image any inspection tech in PA looking for those on a 73, I would say you're fine.

Another thing, why are you getting it inspected? Change the title to antique and put a permanent tag on it, no more state inspection required.

That's what I was going to say, older cars shouldn't need inspection if registered as antique..

No! If the station says so go some where else.

The bumper requirements were federally mandated, not state. For 1973, the fronts were required to be 5 mph and then in 1974, both front and rear. Put 'em on if you like them, if not, don't.
