Guys I need some help.

It has to be a connection that is always live, and the original wire is pretty short. Possibilities include the positive side of the ammeter, or the positive side of the cigarette lighter (I don't remember if the cigarette lighter is always on).

Thanks in advance!

On my '66 'Net, it connects to the ammeter post. Hope this helps.

If you feel like it you can run the wire into the fuse box. There are extra "live" male spades inside there. If I remember correctly that what the wiring diagram shows. I did it on my '66.

Both sides of the ammeter are positive. I believe the factory hooked the clock to the black ammeter stud but it wouldn't make any difference.
