Has anyone ever had a leak free Mopar???

The only thing that leaks is the newest component. The goddam Keisler Tremec TKO. Always has always will.

What did you do - shrink wrap the entire drivetrain and suspension?

Nope,I used all O.E.M. gaskets and no sealer, just the way they were originally put together !!:D

My very first car 1974 charger 318 904
8 1/4 grandma grocery getter. Had no leaks at all it said 36xxx on the odometer and by the eng cond I'd say that was true was a one owner car guys grandmother! It never ever leaked until the day a rock hit the gas tank them a pin hole opened up I plugged it then another and so on I had probably 20 plugs in it I couldn't afford a new tank back then oh and I couldn't fill it above half a tank the rubber grommet for the filler neck was trashed. But before that not a leak in the world I sold the car and when I bought it back years later it was leaking like a siv.

My Dakotas don't leak. . . . Much anyway.
If it doesn't leave evidence on the ground. It doesn't count as a leak IMO

That's kind of cheating but yes, I would say it doesn't count.

When I first bought my 68 back in 2001, the only leak was from the PS pump. Faster forward to 2017...new pump doesn't leak but now the box does(needs new o-rings) of course the transplanted 727 leaks from around the shifter shaft. The chrome steel pan I had on it at first leaked but a new moroso aluminum pan solved that part, now instead of a puddle the size of a pizza every day, it only makes a puddle the size of, well, a smaller pizza...Oh well God bless the old guy we bought our house from, he left behind a 3'x4' drain pan...

Figured you were talking older mopars; my '05 Dakota with 60k hasn't leaked at all...yet. When putting my '63 back together after major resto this year with endless futzing with fitting trim finding correct or close clips, making new studs here and there, dealing with new rubber and some aftermarket **** out of OEM spec or not available, I had to remind myself cars weren't engineered to last half a century! Gaskets, rubber, seals, wiring, age and have to be replaced and there's a whole lot of it all over the car engine and otherwise. I've come to find out firsthand!

Bottom pic of my wife's Challenger. It's going on year 15 since done. Racecar doesn't leak either, year 5. Just attention to detail .

Well, if I count right of all the responders discussing older Mopars, 5 out of 13 don't have a little (or a lot) incontinence. That's better than I would ever have suspected. Guess I need to keep working on mine.

For whatever reason the red 66 hemi 4 speed car doesn't leak a drop.

I don't typically have leaks if I've worked on it. If I haven't then it's probably leaking...lol.

Just some minor seepage from my rear main and the P/S valve on the gear box.

my 383 stays dry, power steering sector has a real slow drip around the shaft silver dollar size spot after sits a week. , I replaced my federal ps pump with a Saginaw and fixed the pump leak LOL, 727 tailshaft seal gets replaced each summer { needs a new yoke }.

I had an old truck I just poured a quart of oil on the ground each week I was to lazy to put it in worked out well we were both happy LOL

Yeh never had much luck with that. I've had 318/340 small blocks, 383/400 B engines and a couple 440s. All leaked something.

Mine is leak-free right now . . .

Of course, it has no engine, no transmission, no rear end and is completely "gutted" at this moment in time . . .

But it's still leak free ! ! !

Let's see. My '08 Cummins leaked at the turbo, oil pan, fuel pump, rear axle pinon, and the transmission. The '02 2500 5.9l v8 leaks at the rear of the left side head, the transfer case, transmission, and both front axle. The Charger is leaking coolant (in process of fixing) and at the front of the 727. But the wife's '16 Journey is leak free. And come to think of it, the '03 Dakota was leak free with 120k on the clock. So used Dodges leak, new Dodges that you change the fluid regularly don't leak. Imagine that.
