The 1963 440 "Parts Car" arrived from the Seattle Washington area Sunday.
Shipping firm: U.S Shipping or U.S. Freight? (More in this company later)
I purchased this car for parts so I can complete the 1963 Dodge Polara Race Car I have been trying to build for the past 10 years, set-back after set back.
Upon arrival, I realized this car is "TOO GOOD" to part out.
Original owner car, 71,000 on odometer, 318 CI all original, never been taken apart.
Yes, it's a 4-door but heck, this car started right up and I immediately took her out for a spin!
Just a nice old car that has been taken care of by the original owner, a little old Lady from Bainbridge Island, Washington state.

Cool...that does look pretty nice to part out. How's the interior? If it had AC, it would be a keeper for me for sure......and well, adding AC might be worth it.

Wow, your very right Ski. That car is much too nice to cut up for a parts car even though it's a four door. Love to have that here.

Good idea not to tear it apart would be a sin in that shape. Nice score must have been a driver to just p/u milk & bread.

Very cool Ski . . . I wouldn't have to think twice about driving that thing

how often does that happen, buy a parts car and it's better than the cars we buy to restore

depending where you live, that would be a awesome daily driver

This 4 dr is way to nice to salvage. That would make a really good cruiser.

Got to go GENERIC

Ski I drove my '68 to Camp Pendleton in Aug. of 1970, no a/c!! Great looking car, just pick out the (cooler) day to drive it..

Around here waiting for a cool day can mean waiting for the last part of the spring, all of the summer and the beginning of fall!

the little Gremlin I bought from original owner
6-cyl
Gremlin X
AC
4-speed car
No rust or damage ever
Soon to get restored...I hope
I worked at AMC and had a 1974 gremlin 258 six 3spd on the floor that was standard for that car and it was fun and pretty quick for a six cylinder. Mine had A/C also. Price out the door was 1700 dollars in 1974.

Yes Cranky...
We have had many days above 110 here in the Mojave Desert this summer!
Oh boy!
It gets hot for sure...
AC is a must
