Our newest addition to the family, 1963 "440"

I worked at AMC and had a 1974 gremlin 258 six 3spd on the floor that was standard for that car and it was fun and pretty quick for a six cylinder. Mine had A/C also. Price out the door was 1700 dollars in 1974.

Yah man, I love this little Levi's Gremlin

My first car was a gremlins just like that one except the paint was white with blue stripes and it was an auto.

We had a few gremlins with 390 engines in them for rear axle testing what a blast they were. The Levi gremlins were pretty nice package. Also the 304 engine combo was great.

Yes Cranky...
We have had many days above 110 here in the Mojave Desert this summer!
Oh boy!
It gets hot for sure...
AC is a must
Bad thing here is the humidity is usually pretty high being so close to the coast. Right now it's 90 already and 70%. Not feeling too bad because there's a nice breeze blowing but get in some spot where there's no breeze, and it's instant sweat your butt off.

Congrats on the nice addition!

I would drive the piss out of that....Cool car and glad your not tearing it apart!

You could go factory used parts and refurbish or used aftermarket for that car. Find a donor.

Real nice looking ride! It will turn heads for sure.

That is what I am thinking 'kidkhrysler"
I have time and soon it will be the COOL season here in the Mojave
Temps in the low 90s
Ha Ha!

This little Levi "X" has the bigger rear
The Dana 30 I think
One was a 20
The other a 30?
I just had my Bud go through it for me

Great color option on your Gremlin
My bud in High School, senior year, had a Purple 3 speed manual on the floor with Tan interior
GREAT CAR!

The straight six under the hood was reliable as hell. Mine was an AT. And I was only 13 so it was unregistered. But where I'm from, back then it was acceptable for preteens to drive around so long as it was "farm related"
And I drove the he'll out of it along the dirt roads for at least two years

So cool!
Lucky guy to have a car at a young age!

nice find ski! Amazing to find such clean cars at that age.It would be a shame to part it out.

Always loved the gremlins too!

yeah, Glenwood, I think you guys are right on this little 63 "440" Dodge
I found a 63 "330" roller in Bakersfield CA
I'll call him tomorrow, see how much he is asking
More to come

What rotten luck you have 'Ski - if you had advertised for a mint car, you would have ended up with a rusted out hulk. Instead you search for a car to tear apart, and end up with a Minter. Dang it, you should buy a lottery ticket now.
That 440 looks good enough to be a cruisy keeper. Nice score.
