I'm in the process of purchasing a 20' enclosed trailer for my 66 and need to know exactly how long the car is? I would measure my own but the car is still at the shop. Anybody got a minute to pull a tape measure for me?

Trailer I'm Looking to buy.

Guy wanted $5500 talked him down to $4500 it's an 04. What do you guys think?

A/C / Heat
New axles, Tires, and Brakes
Fridge

Fridge looks small. Other than that, you can live in it! Nice.

Just measured mine, 16 1/2 feet. A 20' trailer would be a tight fit.
Thanks for the specifics. Just had the guy measure the trailer from the rear door to the front cabinet and got 18' 3" so yes a bit tight but doable. I'm also pulling with a half ton Hemi Ram Sport so the smaller trailer is could be better for that.

2 seconds on craigslist check out your area also check the racer news letter they are always selling trailers to go bigger or from bumper to goose neck

what are going to use this trailer for hauling to the race track or to just move a show car or to store your car 3 big choices

You will wish it had a side door in the trailer so you can get out of the car. Or at least a winch . You won't be able to open the drivers door to put it in park or parking brake on...........MO

A word of advice, think about how you will load & unload the car. Also what stuff you need to bring in the trailer.

The shorter trailer will make it difficult to shift tongue weight and get under the front of the car to tie it down. Tie downs will have to be very short as well. 22' trailers are minimum for hauling cars IMO.

Again a word of advice. I have a 20' bed open trailer that my '66 Satellite takes up almost all of it. I'm thinking of an enclosed trailer at 24 foot. FYI

Trailers are measured by total length and not by bed or box length. The bed or box lenght will vary on every trailer you look at.
Pull an enclosed trailer of that size with a half ton truck will be a hit and miss proposition.
