guys, 68 charger i want to change the windows to power windows, i see XV do a 4 window kit, i am not ready to buy them but i have a person that really wants to buy my existing manual regulators, now i want to make sure i dont get rid of any parts i may need, can anyone assist with what is still required and what i can get rid of, maybe someone that has done it?

I have tried asking Chris from XV for help but he is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Nu-old relics is the place XV buys them from! I used these on my 70 GTX, piece of cake!

I used the Electriclife front power window kit. From what I remember the only part that I replaced was the window regulator.
Everything else remained in tact.It was a simple install no modification other than the wiring. The kit work pretty good. The motors on my kit aren't very powerful and the windows go up and down slow. But its been hassle free since I installed them three years ago.

yes i have used them before on my previous charger, but i cannot recall which parts i need to keep, any assistance?

I too used the Nu-relics source for my 68 Charger. You still need to keep everything except the cranks & the 4 regulators themselves. They supply everything else you need. All four regulators. wiring harness, switches and rubber boots between the door and cowl for about a grand. The only thing I had an issue with was they didn't have an adjustable down stop for the door window regulators. My windows went down too far below the cat whiskers. I ended up installing a 1/4" bolt to stop the down movement. Maybe they have fixed that problem by now since I bought mine back in August of 2015.

thanks for the replies guys, exactly what i was chasing
