looking at the pile of old guns i have mac,sharpe and a few others
its time for a serious upgrade as i have a lot of painting to do in the future.
i haven't painted a car in a good while.

after doing some research
i know it is a good idea to dedicate a primer gun
so i picked up a shape razor 1.8 for primer
and a technics pro 1.4 for solids and clears
i was just wondering what others out there use for some buyers remorse..lol

Sata 5000 Hvlp buy from Italian Importer on ebay like i did for 434.00 your getting the absolute best. Order with 1.3 for color. Use the techna pro for clears with 1.2 tip wonderful!

Sata makes an awesome gun,, very pricey........ I just bought a DeVilbis on sale, sprays great, but didn't realize it needs an inline regulator, not a big deal

I have 3 Anest Iwata's, LPH400 for base and clear and 2 detail guns. Also an Astro primer gun and at least a half dozen other cheapo guns. Just don't cheap out on your base/clear guns. Just my 2 cents worth.

Iwata LPH400 for me on the base/clear. LPH80 for detail and Devillbiss Finishline for primer.

As a professional, After buying my first Sata, I've never looked back. They are a great spraying workhorse.As stated earlier, don't cheap out on your base gun. When a great gun , whether it be Sata or Iwata, really shines is when your spraying fine metallics or pearls. 1.3. - 1.4. When spraying clear 1.4- 1.5 Depends on what kind of painter you are. 1.5 is a little faster... Your gonna cut and buff anyways. My Top 3 gun vote: Sata, Iwata, Gio. Buyers remorse: Sharpe( literally body slammed it to the ground)
