any links on here showing non ralleye dash removal on a 70 Coronet?

Removal from the car? Or disassembly of the dash?

Or both....

First thing the front glass and gasket have to be removed.....Second disconnect bulkhead connections and bulkhead unit and the connections behind the kickpanels. Disconnect AC/Non AC vent/ac hoses. Remove vent cables underside of dash. Loosen the two lower bolts of the dash frame to boot but do not remove. The two threaded studs for the steering column remove those as well(makes life a lot easier) Remove the top bolts of the dash frame. Then pull the frame towards the rear using then you expose the vent cable and remove them from the heater box if AC then you can remove the hoses from the controller on the dash. Once all things are disconnected pull the dash up to clear the lower bolts and remove as one complete unit. Install is the reverse...

Both...THANX!
The worst part of a non rally dash is the switch panel and pad...The rest is easy...

In regards to the switch panel. From behind remove all switches first. Then remove the screws in the switch panel. The some silicone spray and from the front spray heavily along the edge of the switch panel and pad. Then on the backside of the switch panel in one corner push the panel forward and work each end. Usually, the far left side when facing the dash is better to start with. A lot of people go after the pad opening and thats a huge mistake, you will distort the pad and opening because being the switch panel the pad opening is secure to the cluster with screws..Once the panel is out remove those screws and then remove the cap nuts holding the pad and remove the pad. Then all that is holding the cluster in place is the top 2 screws....

First and foremost! Take pictures upon pictures....even how the harness is routed and the plug connections, all hardware and where is goes and how many....Easy to remember now but months from now who knows....
