I have understood that there are very limited supply of body panels for 66-67 cars and maybe even more limited for the -66 Coronet. I have find the wheel arch made by Sherman and the lower part of the quarter behind rear wheel, also made by Sherman. What are your experiences from these parts? Is there any other manufacturer of these panels??

Maybe this issue has been discussed earlier, but I'm new at the forum and haven´t found the right thread. Please help me!

Anybody having experience from this??

I have a set of the rear quarter/ wheelwell patch skins for my 67.... They are raw, I have only held them up against mine and look usable. But what choice do we have???

I'm pretty sure the a Sherman's, there is no die stamp. There are a couple of others that sell what looks to be the same thing, just Google it. I have the links on my tablet at home.
They look identical which leads me to believe there is one company do g the stamping and sold to each distributor..

That panel is actually for Satellite/Belvedere, and will need to be modified quite a bit to fit Coronet. This is because the quarter panel length is longer on the Coronet. Vendors will do their damnedest to tell you they are the "same panel", but are not at all. You're best off by having your favorite fabricator make your quarters or patch panels from scratch. Same with the trunk extension panels you can get - they fit Satellite/Belvedere (sorta) but aren't close to what the Coronet needs.

I will probably need to replace the wheel well panel and also the lower part behind the wheel.
Is the wheel opening the same or do you mean that will bee too short?

I thinking of buying for example these parts:

Am I going to have problems with fitting these?
Unfortunately I don´t have any favorite fabricator to ask.

There is a Coronet specific patch panel available.

At least two members of this board have used it and both report favorably.

I want to say "RTKline" is one of them.

I used Sherman panels. The lines are not crisp. That is the worst I will say about them. Other than that, the shape was very close. I held them on my car prior to installation and they were pretty good. Now if you are after perfection, you will need to cut apart a four door and section things together. It's in my build thread somewhere around here...........

thanks couldnt find yours right found another and posted it :thankyou::thumbsup:

used both they all need massaging always like finding a donor part some times it takes a little longer to find one but there out there
