Hi all, looking for a 2400 or 2600 stall 727 TC, 24 spline. PM if you can help. Thank you,
Rob.

You're probably better off finding a local shop to build what you need.

True that, however, I've seen a couple for sale in the past from members that change their original plans. I don't need it right away so I got time to wait.

I say that because a torque converter isn't all about stall speed, a lot more goes into it you need to consult with a professional who knows exactly what you need

True again, and if anyone has one for sale we would be discussing the unit and it's applications and characteristics,

The problem with buying a used or unknown converter is you rely on what the seller is telling you. Converters are a welded together unit and unless they're cut open you don't really know what you're buying. For all you or the seller know, one hard stomp on the happy pedal could mean the end of the converter.

Unless he gets it from a reputable member here on the Forum! Maybe he is just looking for a cheap converter?

I appreciate the advise, I do, however, this is just a WTB post, I don't want it to turn into an argument. BTW, I already have 2 members that PMed me offering me new in box converters, guess that's what I was looking for, thank you,
