I think $26k is a bit high for that one on the Island though, considering I'd need to get rid of the hood and tail stripes. However, it already has a big block in it, so that's a big plus.

I would say 16000 to 18000 cdn..20.000 tops if theres no signs of rust repairs.. Not a R/t car is it? I thought all R/Ts had 440s?

Not all Island cars are that good.. I can vouch.. I bought a 66 charger from cowichan bay.. I over payed.. But still wanted it.. so.. there not dropping in value to much..

The 70 for 16K-US is asking top $$ for a 318/column shift. Besides unknown metal, lot of work if your cloning includes a BB/4spd/26" rad.

The 69 500 is a better deal at 21.5K-US but hope the sheetmetal is done. A visual-only cloned end-product would be better received than the 70 would. Great color combo.

love the 69.....grab it...(if it is what we think it is)....
clone Bee?....BZZZZZZbuyit
but do your DD 1st

Sonny likes it!:usflag::thankyou::thumbsup:

Both look nice from the pictures. I personally prefer the '69. My question would be why clone? Just changing some badges and trim. I'd pay more for an original Coronet 500 than I would a cloned Super B or R/T.

I like the look of the Ramcharger hood and the Bumble Bee stripe. What I really want is a Bee or preferably a Roadrunner but my budget is limited and I want something I can drive and enjoy right from the get-go. My plan is to modernize the drivability (disc brakes, Caltrac, FiTech, etc) but still have it looking 'stock'.

I agree, I was thinking $21-22k tops as well.
