I have a hurst super shifter set up for a b body. It includes the mounts, levers, rods and hurst shift box. The shifter has a push down reverse lock out set up. The shifter looks very clean on the inside. From what I have read these are somewhat hard to come by. I am asking 300 shipped from 12748 NY. I have been searching online and been seeing asking price close to that just for the install kit with out the shifter box. I mounted it on my 833 for a picture. I planned to use it on my 71 build I am starting but going more stock with a pistol grip at this time. If someone wants, shoot me a reasonable offer

I believe the Hurst "Ram Rod" is/was a "vertical gate" shifter. What you have looks more like a "Competition Plus". The mechanisms are vastly different and the Ram Rod shifter handle is not removable. Look on the side - the name should be stamped there.

The side of the shifter says super shifter. Everywhere i looked seemed to called it ramrod super shifter. I know it's not a vertigate but it uses the same mount and rods from what I have researched

Ok, thanks for the info.. this look mine is a push down reverese Super shifter. I had looked through some ebay stuff and most included ramrod in the description

My shifter shares the same mounting plate, rods and levers as the verigate ramrod

ebay auction of one with a crazy price..

A lot of ebay ads will have a lot of misleading "key words" just to get your attention. I've owned a Ram Rod and I currently have a Super Shifter so I know the difference. I'm sure anyone interested will know the difference too.

Did you know that Hurst made a console to cover that arm and shifter ? I have a bunch and they look like this ...

They were specifically made for B body Mopars and came with a template to trim to fit the trans tunnel.

Thank you for the info. I never owned or saw a shifter set up
Like this. If it were e or a body stuff I know parts pretty good. Haven't messed much with
B yet. Never knew of a console like that was even made. I would run this shifter no problem but my 71 is going for more of a stockish
Build now. I will try to edit the ad to get rid of the ramrod part

i used to run one of those back in the day. it's a super shifter. they work very well in high rpm applications.
