Just for your info:

Edwards AFB and the United States Air Force is celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Breaking of the Sound Barrier Friday 13 October and Saturday 14th of October
BIG event here at Edwards AFB
In fact, "WE" are celebrating by having an open house and flying a F-35, F-15, F-16 and a F-22 from Edwards AFB down to San Bernardino down towards San Diego and back up towards Los Angeles and Santa Barbara then BACK to Edwards AFB
Get this: ALL at an ALTITUDE of 1,000 ft!
How COOL is that?
Everyone will be able to look up and see the jets!

Peace out:
I'm at Edwards AFB, in a F--22 cockpit and underneath every day
I only wish I could tell you more and take pics
Addios!

i can relate to the above statement by miller, "Dangit! Miss the smell of avgas and raw aluminum." i am not saying i miss it but i understand what you are saying. brother bought me a ride in this over the summer and you could definitely smell both.

i think his last show for the summer was in or around colorado somewhere. pretty nice summer job i would think. his brother is on track to become a canadian astronaut down in houston and his better 1/2, she fly's one also. they are keeping the military and the flying in the family in a big way.

A rather dramatic guncam shot of a German Luftwaffe FW-190 pilot bailing out of his wounded machine, presumably before opening his backpack parachute.
