Looking to replacement the carpet and as much of the rubber/felt weather stripping as I can on my 67 Coronet wagon over the winter. Any recommendations on who makes a quality product that actually fits decently? Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to 4 door or wagon stuff but would rather have a quality product to work with.

Thanks,
Jack

X2 on ACC for Carpet.

Weather stripping if its available, Metro Supersoft. Otherwise you may have to contact Steele Rubber to get custom stuff made, and that will be expensive.

Thanks, looks like ACC has the carpeting and Metro has door seals for 4 door sedans which I'm assuming would be the same on a wagon.

ACC offers 3 different types of carpet, Loop, Cutpile and Essex; do you know what the difference is? I know loop is OEM style but an not familiar with the other two.

I have Loop now, but I want Essex.

Loop is stock up till mid 73, mid 73 up they used cut pile. Much nicer then loop. Essex is a premium cut pile that they offer but was never stock on our old cars. Rock Auto will get you the best price on ACC carpet.

We sell both the ACC and Trim Parts carpet sets. Both styles have their strengths and weakness. I feel that the ACC carpet has better quality control on heel placement but the colors have issues fading or changing tints. I always special request the Trim Parts carpet to be cut extra wide as they will some times cut it too short and it will barely cover the required area.
For the weatherstripping, very few people will actually stock the wagon door seals and window felts. Even more frustrating is that will offer the correct door seals and window felts for the four doors and wagons to our vendors, yet they do not know that there are differences. The front doors of the wagon are the same as the front doors of a four door sedan. The rear doors of the wagon are different than the doors of the four door sedan and will thus require a different door seal and window felt. The profiles are the same, just the length and clip placement.
If you have any other questions or concerns, drop me a message and I will try to help get you some answers, especially since weatherstripping is a major area in which we specialize in.
