Hey all Im putting my car back together and I need some reference pictures. I need to see how the undercoating looks under the fender and on the splash shield, need to see how much and where to spray. Any pics would be a help.

You want me to remember back to '68 before there were small cameras, lol? I'll try, fairly solid where you could see around the tires, slightly hit or miss around fender roll edges. Splash shields kinda the same. You have to visualize a worker kinda thinking " cover what I can see easily with no real contortion". Kinda hit&amiss!

Option more than likely placed by the dealership.
If that was the case would have depended on how the applicator felt that day and if the shop manager was doing his job.

If you can wait til tomorrow evening, I will snap a picture of an original 68 Road Runner that retains all of the factory undercoating. It was like, there was a mask used to prevent excess undercoating blowing all over everything inside the wheel well. The rear wheel well is a different story as the undercoating was sprayed over the leaf springs and hangers and the sides of the fuel tank.

If it was done like on my '62, you use a 2" fire hose and shoot it everywhere, on everything! What a mess
