I am in the process of swapping the push-button 727 out of our 64 Plymouth in favor of an A-833 4-speed. My question is regarding the cross-member...does the same cross-member work with the automatic and the 4-speed? Do I need a different biscuit adapter?

As a side note, I'll have a fresh, cable-shift automatic with the '65 slip-in tail shaft and new style converter. If anyone is interested, PM me. Thank you in advance.

You can modify yours to work I did it on my 63 I used a road runner stick trans mount

The MT crossmember does not use the extended mount position. Insulator is mounted in the body of the X member.

Thank you for the replies. I will likely modify mine or go with the Brewer mod. Appreciate the help.
