These were my personal things from the 70s, radio worked but don't know condition now,
Needs to be cleaned, the bracket was used to remove every night,
The handheld has a magnet to stick to metal dash.
The antenna is missing the mounting bracket, $75.00 plus shipping from n.y.
B.t.w, my handle was Beretta , from the t.v. Show ,for those who remembers,

This is cool. That is a 23 channel CB unit that predates the changeover to 40 channels. A Realistic model from Radio Shack. On a anti-theft underdash slide bracket ! a big 10-4 Beretta, you got Superbird here.

How many here still know their call letters?
This is what we used before cell phones.
A CB and a Scanner, top of the line communications in the '70's & '80's for the streets.
You better keep it for when the cell towers go down and land lines are cut.
It will be your only means of comm.

Would a magnet from a Microwave fit in the base?

Cool.

In 1989 I bought a '77 Midland 40 channel with a trans hump mount/ext speaker , and used it on my road trips between OH and FL. VERY handy.

When I bought my Satellite, it had a 23 channel RCA unit installed!
