Did Mopar stamp p/n's on the 1969 gas tanks?

Did Mopar stamp p/n's on the 1969 gas tanks? If so, where? I was given a gas tank
for my 69 Dodge but I cannot tell if it is correct. Correct p/n?

No they did not stamp pm's they wrote the number on the bottom with a sharpie...

Thanks. The tank has no markings on it at all. Just wondering if it had the correct tank. Seems that there is no sure way of telling.

If it fits then its probably correct.

If it looks like this.. Then its a 66/67 b-body

If it looks like this then its 68 to 70 B-Body You can find this new for under a 100 bucks. If you aren't sure what you have, get one new its cheap..

Thanks for the pictures. Looking at the pictures it is a 68-70 B Body tank. Prices. You folks in the US are lucky. The Spectra tanks are made in Canada in Quebec. I have had prices quoted as high as $500 Canadian in Ontario. This may require a trip to Buffalo to get a reasonable price, when factoring in fuel costs. Any good speed shops in Buffalo?

Here is one for 76.00 US I would install a new sender too. Also get the Filler tube Grommet. As you can see I have no problem spending other peoples money.

That is a crazy price. Funny, if I select Canadian that item does not show up and the price is 261 bucks. If I put in the SKU number I still get the 261 dollar tank. Will have to spend more time on this.

Thanks for all of the replies and input. With the weather getting colder and not having a garage to work in, this project has been put on hold until the spring or summer OR when the warm weather returns.
