I bought a set of headers from a guy. 440 B-E body. They are new, never mounted. He said they were from MOPAR Performance. They are in several pieces, even the mounting flange is in three pieces per side. They join together at the collector. They were made that way, not cut up.
Does anyone know anything about these? I can find no info on them on the web.

Probably some kit to fit headers in a non stock application like a 440 in a FRONT wheel drive car. Direct Connection and Mopar Performance did offer kits to do rear wheel drive conversions. The buyer was expected to trial fit, cut, fit, cut, fit, cut, dent. fit, dent more, fit, cuss, take a shower then start again the next day.

All my Hooker race headers have split-flanges and varying number of separate pipes. They all slip-fit, and have tabs for the collectors to bolt on. Chrysler/Direct Connection-Mopar performance used to sell Hooker headers.

Something like these?

Yup, mine look like that only brand new. They also came with an H pipe that bolts to the collector. In grease pencil someone wrote "440 Cuda" on them. My question being: Will these fit my '70 Coronet? My gut says that they SHOULD, as lots of headers fit B and E bodies. But if they won't fit I need to sell them and move on. No, I can't try them on my car yet. Motor is in one place, body in another, QA1 K frame beside it.

I can almost guarantee you that they will not fit.

I have a 69 Coronet that I have owned for years, went through several sets of headers advertised for a Coronet all which barely fit, ie, they are tight everwhere.

Slip fit headers: Fine on a race car with open headers; not so good on a street car with mufflers. Can you say, "leak"?
