“Stabil” Ever heard of it?

I think Stabil works, no doubt. But if you have multiple vehicles to store during winter I believe using Toluene or even Kerosene in the tank is just as effective and cheaper. Use the same dose as you would Stabil. Just my 2 cents. I've been using a pint of Toluene as an octane boost in my cars and boats for over 30 years without any issues at all. I have never experienced any problems with vehicle fuel system after winter storage.

Do you fill the tanks to full and mix a bit Wih the gas to not let ethanol gather moisture ?

Here's what I do: If my cars have less than a full tank of gas I will pour in a pint of Toluene, then fill the tank with gasoline. If my tank is full I will mix a pint of Toluene to a gallon of gas then pour it into the tank. Use Caution not to get Toluene on your PAINT it will attack it.

I didn't read past page 1, but after an experienced muscle car restoration and service mechanic FRIEND of mine recommended MARINE Sta-Bil I bought a bottle...I use it in my 70 V-Code Roadrunner and my wife's 65 421 Tri-power GTO. It has worked so well and I trust his recommendation so much I bought a gallon of MARINE Sta-Bil so I would have it on hand. I also use Royal Purple octane booster which is a fuel stabilizer when I want to add an octane booster.
Not to get off topic, my first choice to boost octane is blending Sunoco 110 with premium pump gas.
