Hi, I just purchased a 1970 Sport Satellite with a stock 318. Was not running and needs a lot of body work. Working on a build thread here> "Advice For A1970 Sport Satellite" in the 68-70 section.
Had this car for almost two weeks it needs a lot of work but its a solid car. I have met some great folks here already and look forward having a lot of fun with a Mopar! Hey its my first!

I hope to get it running within the next two weeks but I keep finding other things it needs the more I dig into it..... I am sure you all know how that goes..... I am awaiting my Demon 1900 and Edlebrock Performer manifold. I may need to replace the water pump not sure yet. After I get it running I plan to put full length headers and duel exhaust on it. Later maybe a cam and heads but that's down the road a long ways.

Anyways thanks for looking!

You ask as many questions as a little kid or jealous girlfriend. :poke:

Kern dog, you always have just the right thing to say....

In 1982, I had a 69 Dart as my first car. A co-worker at Burger King had a 70 Sport Satellite 318 that he wanted to sell. $800. I liked that car, in fact the 69 Dart was bought because I could not afford a Charger or Road Runner like I wanted.
One of the most unusual 70 Plymouths that I recall was a burnt orange Sport Satellite with a 383-4 and a 4 speed. The car was in a few magazines and actually made it to our Mopar show in Sacramento. The car had an air grabber that was not stock but otherwise, the car was a real sweet ride.
There used to be a Pick-N-Pull in Chandler. I have family in Scottsdale and Tucson and I see them every Christmas. The PNP never had anything I could use but I tried to make it there once a year.

Somebody call CNN, this merits international headlines and a serious investigation....

How did that happen?
Doesn't look possible with the bumper on the car.

Was a Kardashian looking under the hood?
Btw, There's a ghost in your garage.

Yeah, I was joking...Some people do not know that you can quote another post and edit the words to make a joke of another persons words.
Tee Hee.
Ha ha.
I'm glad that YOU are a Mod with a sense of humor. Someone else there has been editing some of my stuff lately and they are not as fond of my style.

Oh, I can be a great ally to have. I am a smart alecky dude but I will also put myself WAY out there to help my friends.
The 70 Satellite body is a great platform. There are surely more of them than cars like my 70 Charger. This will be easier to restore since there may be more good parts cars out there and they are not as expensive. The 70 Plymouth was also featured in the Fast and Furious movies to give it some "cult" status...Nice for you, ma bruthuh....!
