interesting keep us updated on your project

Great project. Gonna take some time and cubic dollars, but that one is gonna be awesome when put back to rights.
Good luck!

Well, thankfully I can do all the work myself. So it will be much less expensve to my wallet, but many times more consuming of my personal time. I am ok with that as I can take as much time as I want to do things.

Lots of luck, I am also working on a similar project - a 1971 440-6 Superbee that I found in similar condition. I have had it for a couple of years now sitting in a carport waiting until I had the time and money to do it right. I started over the summer stripping it down and cutting out the bad. This winter I will go full throttle on it to get the body done. My biggest hurdle was finding clean front fenders. I was very surprised at how hard to find they are and not reproduced - had to buy a not so cheap parts car to just get the fenders and trunk lid correct for 71.

that car was just posted elsewhere on this site...

Yes, it was...by me in the Welcome Wagon thread. This is the restoration thread. I put it here also.

Very cool I miss having my r/t but I did absolutely nothing with it and others wanted it so off she went I prefer my rallye project over the r/t
But yours is sweet the ram charger hood is bad *** mine had the boaring louvers.

Ahh, I didn't look close enough. I see the opening for the louvers now. It's going to be a beautiful car, regardless.
Looks to be the same color configuration as the 71 that Graveyard Carz restored....

I saw that posted for sale and thought the color combo was awesome. The interior will make it awesome when you get done. I think the ad was still up last week and I almost contacted the seller just because I loved the interior combo

Hey nstyle,
I do not think it is the same car. I was the received the car as part of an estate, my sons in-laws. They were going to advertise it, maybe they did, but decided it would have a better home with me. My only cost was the transport.
If you have a link to the advertisement I would like to see it.
Thanks

I looked for the ad again, but it did not come up. I am 100% positive that is the car because the first picture and the picture of the interior were in the ad because I knew it had the color inserts and I thought the dash was green which seemed odd. Its neither here nor there at this point and its a shame about your son in-law. My father in law would have no interest in a car like this, so it is good that it stayed in the family.

Hey, you never know ! I thank you for the input. The green dash had me wondering too ! It does sound like the same car....where did you see it advertised ?

Well, it has been a while since I posted an update. It has been a wee tad on the cold side here , so work slowed down.
Thanks to FBBO members, I have pretty much everything for the exterior, and have the interior from the doors back done.
Yesterday I spent chasing wires to get wiper motor and some dash lights functioning.
The Big news...it turns over ! It was a 2 month process being very careful and progressing slowly. Now to get it to turn over from the key instead of jumping the solenoid.
It progress in the right direction !

Thanks to FBBO for all the advice I gleaned from reading many, many threads that pertained to what I was doing.
