Anyone ever used Herb's for parts. I ordered an antenna kit a month ago and only got an email and paper copy of my receipt in the snail mail but no antenna kit. Called today during business hours and left a message but no call back...
 
I have used Herbs quite a few times with great results and followup. The second Mopar show is in Ocala FL, this weekend and they attend. I had a problem with a part from them once and they were right on it. I wouldn't worry if I were in your place.
 
There are good people. Im sure they are expecting one of their vendors to drop ship your part and they have failed. I don't think any of our vendors stock everything they sell.
 
I used them a few times. Good stuff.
 
Ordered a few times, never an issue. Always had to leave a message but they called back.
 
Don't worry, they will get back to you. I've dealt with them over the years and they always looked after me, great people to do business with.

I bought lot's of parts from them at the mopar nationals in Columbus throughout the 1980s. Nothing recent, but I would not hesitate to order from them nowadays.
 
I'll vouch for Herb's as well....Used them many times with good results. Last time I used them (couple months ago) I got all the way through the online checkout but when I entered my card # it said "processing error please try again later..." It was late so I gave up and figured I would just try the next day..Well the next morning at open of business Ruth(Mrs. Herb?) called me and explained they were dealing with a computer issue and she took my info right then over the phone, had my stuff 4 days later with a hand-written thank-you note on the receipt..Nice, considering so many places nowadays act like it's a hassle to take our money..
 
Wait till mid next week and give them a shout again there in florida for a show.
 
I had a similar situation, on a part, its the vendors, they will get back with you pretty quick
 
You have no worries about Herb's Parts. They will make it right. However, they are currently doing shows and may be difficult to contact. In FL at Big Daddy's this weekend and in Columbus OH next weekend.
 
Saw Herb and Ruth today in Ocala and mentioned the antennae issue and they acknowledged the problem. They were very concerned that anyone might have had anything bad to say about them in the followup responses. This is one supplier you don't need to be concerned with. Either email them or leave another message. I think this may be the only time a seller actually didn't get a message.
 
Thanks for all the responses. I'll follow up tomorrow with them. That's why I figured I'd ask you guys for input and not just assume they were terrible off the bat. Now I know and will use them in the future too.
 
Were they actually vending at Ocala? I did not see them at the show if they were.
 
I had to hunt them myself. They didn't bring their big trailer and they were on a corner south of the Mopar Muscle tent. Hung out and chatted with them for a while while it rained. At least while it rained it wasn't dusty.
