Rechroming 1967 GTX bumpers

I was able to drop my bumpers off today. These are what they looked like when I dropped them off to be shipped to be rechromed. Hopefully in ten to twelve weeks I will be able to update this post with like new bumpers and a positive experience!

That sucks.. My neighbor has one of the few chrome shops left in Georgia. I bet I could get a deal. Paid 650.00 to have the roadrunner bumpers re chromed. This was before he became my neighbor.
 
Just stopped at a 37 year old shop in t to ask about my bumpers on my Coronet. $350 each, 2 weeks. After turkey day they are going in.

Yeah, was wondering how much you paid. I see single rechromed bumpers on feebay selling for $750.

Will they do bumpers that have been owner modified?

Does that price include any straightening they may need? That is about the same price that Keystone in Brainard Mn. charges and they have a price quote on all American made cars and pick-ups. Good thing about them is- they will pick up and deliver at a body shop with no shipping charges.......................MO
 
Prices on the east coast are double what you all have here. $700-$1000 EACH.

Paul’s Chrome Plating in Evans City PA did mine for $900.00 a bumper. Expensive, but they did a great job on my front and rear bumpers and they are about an hour drive from my house.
 
My problem is that I added a couple of inches to the middle and I cant find a shop that will do the work.
 
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on redoing my bumpers, I was gonna go to tri city in tennesee. anyone used them lately? looking for a show quality job.

I spoke with Tri-City and they told me they wouldn't repair the rust holes in the front bumper. They had good prices and were great to speak with.

Northstar isn't the cheapest but they did a bumper for me twenty-five years ago and it is still show quality.
