I found this impressive add about Borla exhaust systems and they used my favorite car, 68 Charger. I am trying to decide on an exhaust system for my 68 and have been reading about these ones and would like to ask some questions to any of you that know about these.
I would like sound but I don't want over bearing sound especially in the cab. A few years back I took my wife and drove a fully restored 72 Challenger to the Las Vegas Moper show. This was a very beautiful car with a great sounding 440. On the trip the car resonated so bad my wife and I had to wear ear plugs and had a hard time visiting.
I have been making sure to put sound deadening in my charger and would like to listed to the stereo and or visit. I'm not sure that my wife would wand to travel with me again if it is to noisy.
How is the sound in the cab, with the windows up, with this system?
Will this system do what is says it will?
Are these mufflers worth getting?

Looks like they used a Mustang. I hope your 68 Charger doesnt look like that from the back. As for the exhaust its supposed to be good just a little out of my price range.

I have a complete TTi system installed on my Charger with Magnaflow mufflers, way to quiet. The Borla was just coming out when I bought TTi.

If you watch the video they also use a 68 charger. :thumbsup:

I had long tube headers, no cats with an H-pipe and Borla cat-back on a Mustang I had, and they were beautiful quality, and had zero drone at speed. Sounded awesome wot too. I’m a fan of them!

I installed a Borla system on my late model Hemi, sounds great. Not loud at idle or cruising, but throaty at wide open throttle.

Video clip sounds sweet. I like Magnaflow myself. Never did Borla.

And the problem is?:poke:
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

All good info really, getting ready for full exhaust replacement on the RR
Thanks!

Very expensive exhaust system. Look at flow master in my opinion 1/2 the price and better.
I still don't know how much this system would cost for my car. I guess I would need to call to get a bid.
