I have been a member of the sister site cbodiesonly for many years: so I don't feel exactly "NEW". I like all MoPar classics & own several. This is my Jane Dirt project except all the drivetrain is new. Rebuilt 383 engine, rebuilt 4 speed trans which is numbers matching & a 3.55 posi rear. It also has dual exhaust & completely new original 11" brakes. I just got it running on Wed last week & drove it for the first time. I had an issue with the idler arm & joined this site to get some knowledgeable help because several mechanics that looked at it didn't know what was going on: it was bent & allowed the idnner ball joint to rub against the torsion bar. A fine gentleman helped me out, thanks! Once that is fixed I can drive J.D. on the road. For now I don't intend to get it painted. I will do body work as time allows & drive her because every time I have a nice looking, painted car I keep it in a garage. I do plan on 15" tires & wheels. I will update you as time allows & share all I can of my limited knowledge. I do have lots of parts & cars... an 80x40' 2 story building full but you will need to come see it all in person in Roanoke VA. Cash & trade for the love of all things cars! Not for profit. ;) 500cubes

Welcome. Love the Bee!

Nice Runner! Love the clean inside and under the hood with the weathered exterior. Very unassuming.

Welcome from NW CT. Great attitude towards your car and the hobby...

Welcome! I’m about an hour and a half west of you in Bland county

Welcome from Western New York! Nice Bee!

Welcome!

I think its neat to build a car like this. Ive been saving parts from all over for years & after 6 months of carefully finding, cleaning, detailing & assembly I finally have a car that works! Its hard to believe I had a car just laying around in storage: with some assembly required.

welcome from Virginia beach ! You have a great mopar club out there in Roanoke ....
