The master control cable mounts to the right side (passenger) duct door arm of the ramcharger. Enters firewall through grommet just to the lower left of the voltage regulator when looking at it (I think there may be a dimple there on non-N96 cars). Mounts under dash just to the left of the ashtray. This is how I've seen it on most cars. Here's the best pics I could find.

I didn't think there was a 6pack difference in the ductwork, are you thinking of the air dam on the filter base for non-N96 6pack cars?

what I have know is 4 barrel and ram charger hood ,plan on putting on a 6 pak. Thought I read something was different. Is the 6 pak air cleaner different for the ram air hood? thanks for the pics

Like 4mayhemi said. The only difference is the base, air dam on non ram air cars.
