Will a 68 69 70 AMC AMX space saver spare fit a 1969 dodge Charger?

I am pretty sure that the Space Saver spares did not come along until 1970 in the E body's. Definitely know the 69 Charger would have come with a full size spare that would be mounted towards the backseat in the front portion of the trunk.

Yes it will fit. Do not think Chrysler used a space saver till 73. Does it come with the can of air to inflate it?
It worthless with out air.

70 Cuda and Challenger had the space saver as an option. W34 is the option code for that spare tire. As for the can of air, I really wouldn't be trying to inflate that space saver for actual use at 45+ years old. Especially if it is an original Chrysler wheel and tire as it may ruin it. At the cost of those, I would think it's for originality and looks purposes only.

We were discussing 69 Charger right. How much more trunk space you need?
Cuda's and Challenger trunks were but a suitcase by comparison.

I believe you all answered my question. Sounds like I need to keep looking for a 14x6" steel wheel and forget the "space saver". Right now I have a Magnum wheel as a spare with an original red line tire on it. The problem is I have to mount it upside down because the hold down is too short. I thought I'd found one at Tony's Parts for $135 but they don't carry them anymore. If anyone knows where I can find a 14x6" steel wheel, please let me know. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes we were.....just was showing the OP where an original space saver spare would be used, why it it used(small trunk in comparrison), and what it would look like. :) Just like you stated, the trunks were about half the size as a B body.

Keep your eye out at swap meets. These wheels are fairly common, especially if you aren't looking for a specific date code. I see tons of them at Chrysler Carlisle every year.

What would a 14x6 been common on?
Only thing I can think of would be Plymouth Fury.
