Any opinions on were is the best place to get a windshield and gasket for 69 Sat. . I assume they crate these things very well and shipping must cost. Thanks

the gasket you can get from many places.i had a windshield installed and bought new from a local glass installer,no problem finding one.i have a 69 runner and i think it cost me less then 200 bought and installed just for the windsheild of course the gasket will set you back more.

I bought a windshield glass for my 69 coronet in the eighties from a local glass company. Took care of it for 15 years while the car project sat due to my work and other priorities.
The time finally came to put it in and I broke it. This was in the morning. I called another local glass company --they had a new one and installed it that afternoon for a couple hundred bucks. (using my 15year -new old gasket)

The rubber gasket can be bought from a supplier like year one, Laysons, etc. Call your local auto glass for the glass and install. Ask your body shop for their referral.

Google search it...
as much as I hate supporting anything Google is does...
You'd be surprised, the availability...
depends on where you live & what the local yocal's do/have

I would vote for the local glass shop as well, when I got my '68 the windshield was cracked pretty badly. The place I had replace it changed the gasket as well..I would think they could provide you with just the gasket if that's all you need..

I had the glass replaced in my 70 Charger years ago. Make sure to look through it before paying the man. Mine is distorted in the curved areas near both A pillars. Mine is better than the scratched and pitted original but bad enough for me to replace it next Spring.

Was thinking of using AMD for the glass and Steele for the gasket
AMD or ECS....Same supplier JRD international....

ECS if you need date code, correct logo but will be more......

AMD just has a generic Chrysler logo and no date

They fit and fit RIGHT!

Yes, steele gasket

Good luck getting undistorted glass these daze.....look ACROSS the windshield of ANY new car, ripply as korn kobs. Finding LOW distortion is best hope.
Steve, I agree that You should find a source local to You & 86 shipping glass.
