New S-60 rear end ordered. What can I expect for setup when it arrives?

Whichever ones you want, specify with your order. I had to get green bearings because of my wilwood disc brakes on the rear
Thanks. I did not specify with Cass which one I preferred. He is at SEMA so I guess I'll have to wait until he gets back to find out. I have the invoice but it doesn't specify. I wonder if anyone else who has ordered from him knows what his preference/default is.

Did you order disc brakes with it? Default is probaly tapered timken bearings

I wouldn't worry about it you can run the shaft end play pretty tight with tappered bearings. Ive seen front hub bearings with more play without a problem. What I have had issue with is depending on which axle flange offset it has the rotor/caliper bracket centering may be incorrect. If you can shim the bracket that's great. But in my case the rotor needed to be spaced out from the axle flange. Fabbed up a couple of 1/8" spacers that fit between the rotor and axle flange. Been ok for 5 years.

It's here! And boy is it beautiful. Now to make the time to get it in before the snow flies.

my suggestion is to bubble wrap as much of the surfaces as you can before install so you can minimize any knicks/scratches in that nice powdercoat
