I bought a choke plunger for the bike a few days ago.. It got here yesterday.. I buy a sure grip it ends up in oblivion..

Speaking of FedEx, which, by the way, is not a Federal agency, there were 3 FedEx trucks parked on the street in front of my neighbor's house one house over yesterday. All 3 unloaded all their packages onto the street and began taking inventory then swapping several packages from one truck to another. They were there about an hour then they left.

Now do you still have faith in FedEx?

You should have seen the guy unload mine from the back of his UPS truck. I didn't expect that kind of a shipping container. It made it, barely. The opposite side was busted wide open!

Well the CEO is former Marine, so I have to believe!

The government is rattle proof, my friend. They can run in the red for decades and still get business; tax payer supported, of course. I'd say that's job security.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease, though. Keep calling.

I bought two Mopar collectible items this year. Oh I got them alright but the idiot that delivered them put the package in front of one of the garage doors not between the two garage doors. Yep, they got run over and destroyed. I took them to the post office. They could have cared less.

I ordered all 4 rotors for my bosses Silverado. They put them on my porch 3 inches from the storm door that opens outward.. How the hell does my wife open the door to get them off the porch.. She had to go through the garage and walk around the house and move them one at a time to be able to open the storm door.. Morons I tell ya..

And the UPS guy is dumb too. :)

USPS lost an intake manifold from a member here.

Tracking had it going in and out of the same facility in Jacksonville three times in under 10 minutes from the time it was accepted at the shippers local PO. Then it vanished.

How the hall does that happen?

Fedex left a clearly marked new computer halfway up our driveway where my wife signed for it. She then double checked the address and found out it was for next door. She caught the driver as he was climbing back in his truck and he said it was her problem now, since she signed for it. Really?

UPS never lost anything I've shipped in over 15 years but what they started doing was upcharge me on weight. It didn't matter even after adding a couple of extra pounds to the shipping and confirming the weight when I dropped it off at the UPS store. All shipments were prepaid and the UPS store scale ticket stating the weight was under the upcharge weight didn't matter so my business moved over to the post office. So far so good. Had one package that got delayed going to Canada using UPS (buyer set up the commercial shipment) but it still made it to him within 10 days. Lost one package with the USPS but the buyer wanted it shipped as cheap as possible so there was no insurance or tracking on it. His money was refunded but anymore, a shipment like that is on the buyer and not me. I think now all packages that goes through the post office has a tracking number....?

With all these stories plus personal experience, I don't ship anything without adding at least $2 for the minimum ins. I just add it right into the shipping cost.

Bought some small parts, get a flat envelope empty, WTF. Went through roller where they scan zip codes and pushed parts out, gone. Vendor made good, sent photo of envelope . Guy sent a glove compartment lamp socket and wire in a round tube 3" long. Showed up 3 months later.
Suregrips and heavy items need to be shipped box in a box. Bought one and the box was beat to hell from part inside.
