This listing includes one(1) vintage used Westinghouse #4000 low beam headlight and one(1) vintage used Westinghouse #4001 high beam headlight. Two(2) bulbs total.

$30/Shipped!

Both headlights have been tested and verified to work, see pictures below.

Note: Westinghouse headlights are typically noted as original equipment on Mopar Musclecar era cars built at the Lynch Road and Los Angeles plants to include the Superbird while cars equipped with GE headlights are noted on cars built at the St. Louis plant.

My survivor 69 GTX built at Lynch Road had correctly dated GE bulbs....70 and above I agree but pre 70, nope....

Are the bulbs dated? If so what are the dates? They look nice....you cannot beat original parts

You're probably right although it's sometimes difficult to be 100% certain when it comes to what vendors were used and when. But yes it would appear Westinghouse bulbs came on the scene starting in 1970. I have no verifiable data on this except for what I see on my 69 Road Runner and what I've been discussing with others here: http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads.../2412236/original-headlights.html#Post2412236

Observations made in the above referenced thread:

- Some Superbirds had two(2) GE and two(2) Westinghouse bulbs

- 69 Road Runner used GE

- 71 GTX came with four(4) Westinghouse

- Two(2) 1970 Superbird(s) came with correct date coded Westinghouse bulbs

The two used Westinghouse bulbs I have for sale came off of my 69 Road Runner, but they were found on the driver side fender which was replaced after some prior collision damage. The ink stamp is missing from one and very faded on the other. I cannot make out a date code on either. I don't know if they were original to the replacement 1969 Plymouth B-Body donor fender or replacements purchased from the auto parts store? My passenger side original fender has GE bulbs with what appear to be correct date codes.
