G’day gang,

Has anyone put 295’s on the rear of there 69 roadrunner?

Do they fit without modification - tubs - rolled guards etc etc

What rim size, offset,PCD did you use.

Any pics??

Thanksss

Fits with no mods, just need the correct wheel.

I have 295x50x15 on the Rallye wheel 15x8 with standard offset on my '70 GTX - probably exactly the same wheel house clearance as yours. No issues at all....except a telltale rub mark up the top when some fat bastards sat in the back. :D

295 50 15's. 8" rim. No offset. Factory. Smidgeon of scrub inside left on leaf spring on track day only. Solved with spacer. 69 Coronet R/T.

Had a set of 305's on my Charger with no mods, they were on 10" wide rims. They were actually a friends who has them on a 69 RR, I'll be putting 305's on mine next time around. The rim is the trick, has to have the right offset (backspacing) which should be zero offset or 5" backspacing on a 10" rim.

I have M/T 28 x 12.5 x 15 tires mounted on 10" rims with a 5-1/2" offset. The fit in my 69 RR with about 1/4" clearance at the tub. They clear everywhere else.

A 295 tire is only 11.75" wide so clearance should not be an issue
