I know body panels are out. Anything else that might be useful on a 71-72 RR/GTX/Satty?

dash?
wiring?
radio?
steering wheel/column?
seat belts?

Anything?

besides what you suspect
cowl top, firewall, frame rails and floors and crossmembers will interchange
a rr had a rallye dash so some of it might not work depending on what it is?
that is there.
there are a lot of little parts, clips, nuts bolts suspension parts ect that will also be useful.

probably 95-98% of the parts from 71 to 72 or vice versa.

Well I went ahead and bought the car today. Well worth what I paid, I think.

Scored some hood-mounted turn indicators, a rear window defogger setup, power window switches/wiring, 4 factory steel rims, split bench with fold-down arm rest (which I actually don't need, but someone might), AC stuff, a power brake booster/linkage... don't know if the front/rear window brightwork will interchange, but it's all pretty nice, wiper arms, extra dome light assy, e-brake pad, gas pedal setup, wiring? clips, brackets, connectors, fasteners etc.

..and an RH mirror

How "pretty" is the sweep cluster?

I really only need the plastic outer face with the woodgrain if it's not all scratched up.

It's also a temporary fix to replace my base cluster face until I can get my harness adaptor built for my rallye cluster.

Looked pretty decent to me at a glance. All I've really done is unload it, snap a few quick pics and get it under a tarp. Which is a good thing, since it's raining here today. I'll try to look and get some better pics for you later today if it clears up.

May want to take it to PM though? So it doesn't become a sale thread? I'll start one eventually as I have time to dig into to it a litte. My Road Runner project goes to the body shop for new quarters next weekend. So I should have time then to start pulling stuff and passing the things I don't need on.

Does the seat back tilt?

I could use that buddy seat ... if it was gold. That '72 Satty must be a Custom because it has all those options.

Yes, major components are interchangeable, A few minor differences, heater water control valve is vacuum operated in ’71, cable operated in ’72, heater controls would then be model year specific.

I haven't pulled the dash yet, but I finally did find time to take a couple of pics of the heater/AC box in the 72 Satty. This one appears to have vacuum actuators?... now, I'm new to restoring old Mopars, so I might be looking at the wrong thing?

Actually, it is! Good call.

Unfortunately, it does not appear to. I can double-check in the daytime where I can see better, but I don't think I missed anything.

Too bad, because it would look pretty cool in a 2-door, I think.

The 4-doors used the same seat frame as the 2-doors. Is easy to convert to a 2-door seat. Do need the release button, cable and latch which I have a couple setups if interested.

If your car is a big block, I could use some ac lines.
