Front disc rebuild on the RR. It has no anti rattle hardware of any kind installed form earlier install. I see they sell a up grade caliper pin that replaces clips and springs.How's that work? Any advice on there use or should I use the tried and true clips and springs. Same cost for both.

Use the upgraded pins. They are shorter and do not require the use of anti rattle clips.
 
a little anti rattle goop on the back of the pads will stop the smacking.
Pin callipers are best,no drag!
