Long story short is that I bought another mopar and need to have it shipped. My regular guy is able to do it, but not til he finds someone needing something taken in that direction (Oregon). Seller needs car gone by next week, so I have to use another shipper. Came across this USHIP service and was thinking of using it. Anyone use them, what should I check out?

When you pick a carrier check and see if he has a legitimate active DOT number. Can easily be done at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov.
If they do not have a DOT number I advise not using them. The reason being is they do not have cargo insurance if they have no number.

I used Uship to get my car from California to Arizona ... no problems at all and they seemed to be very affordable. When it got here the driver even helped me push it into my garage.

I'm sure there are some very good transporters with uship I'm just saying you get what you pay for.

I did get a quote from them and they seemed to be fair, $1100-$1400 from Saint joseph Missouri to CA, i did have them ship a Mega Block and two cranks from Illinois to Ca for $400. just got the block last Friday 12/15/17 and all went fine No problems.

I used them a couple years ago to ship a car from Texas to PA. I believe it was a little less than $1,000, would have been less if the car was running/driving. The driver was about 3 hours late, other than that the car arrived with no damage

that is good info, thanks guys. How long does it take to set up and get ready, 3-4 days?

I used them to ship from NJ to NY last January.
You set up an auction for a date, then you can look at the bidders and accept one.
It was a bit annoying how many nuisance emails I received for weeks afterwards.
The other bad thing is I found out that the selected company/driver gets about 80% of what the bid amount was.
My driver was just a small operator who lived near where the car was. He did a great job.

I used them to ship a 63 Polara from Whitby Isl, WA State to Edwards AFB, CA
Paid in full, $735
Driver refused me the car
Said I didn't pay
I say okay...Bye!

He came back later on that afternoon
Problem is: It's a BIG company and they use "Hot Shots"
They are nothing but "drivers"
So;
If it works for you...G-R-E-A-T

Good to know that info. Something like that happened to my friend, and it was a Hemi Cuda convertible! Will see how it all goes and will post what happens.

Two Penny did great by me shipping my '55 Plymouth from Michigan to Maryland.

I have used Uship for 4 tractors, 2 chargers and tire changer and a cider press. Always had good luck and the price was right.
